1. हवाई जहाज एक मानव निर्मित ऐसी यांत्रिक मशीन है, जो हवा में अपने दो पंखो की सहायता से उड़ता है और इसे चलाने वाले ड्राईवर को पायलेट बोलते है।
2. 114 साल पहले 17 दिसंबर 1903 को राइट बंधुओं, ऑरविल और विलबर ने उत्तरी कैरोलिना में राइट फ्लायर नामक विमान से सफल उड़ान भरी थी।

8. हवाई जहाज करीब 35,000 फीट यानि 10.668 किलोमीटर की ऊंचाई पर उड़ते हैं। वाणिज्यिक यात्री जेट विमान आमतौर पर 9,000 से 13,000 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर उड़ता है।
9. हवाई जहाज का सफ़र आरामदायक होता है। ये रेल और बस की तरह हिलता नहीं है मगर इसका सदहरण टिकट भी बहुत महंगा होता है व देश से बहार जाने के लिए पासपोर्ट होना चाहिए।
