1. भगत सिंह को भारतीय राष्ट्रवादी आंदोलन के सबसे प्रभावशाली और महान क्रांतिकारियों में गिना जाता है ।
2. भगत सिंह का जन्म 27 सितंबर, 1907 को लायलपुर ज़िले के बंगा में हुआ था, जो अब पाकिस्तान में स्थित है। उनके पैतृक गांव नाम पैतृक गांव खट्कड़ कलां  है जो भारत के पंजाब में है।
3. भगत सिंह के पिता का नाम किशन सिंह और माता का नाम विद्यावती था।
4.  भगत सिंह का परिवार ग़दर पार्टी के समर्थक होने के साथ जलियाँवाला बाग हत्याकाण्ड ने भगत सिंह के दिल में देश भक्ति की भावना उत्पन्न करने में प्रमुख भूमिका निभाई ।
5. भगत सिंह ने अपने गाँव से 5वीं की पढाई करने बाद आगे की पढाई दयानंद एंग्लो वैदिक हाई स्कूल से की थी।
6. भगत सिंह ने बीच में पढाई छोड़ कर भारत की आज़ादी के लिए नौजवान भारत सभा की स्थापना की थी। इसके बाद वे चंद्रशेखर आजाद की  पार्टी हिन्दुस्तान रिपब्लिकन ऐसोसिएशन से जुड़ गए।
7. भगत सिंह ने गाँधी जी का बहुत सम्मान करते थे मगर कुछ घटनाओ ने अहिंसा पर से उनका विश्वास कम कर दिए।  जिसके बाद उन्होंने ये माना की हथियार के दम पर ही भारत को स्वतंत्रता मिल सकती है।
8. भगत सिंह आजादी के मतवाले ही नहीं बल्कि एक अच्छे लेखक, वक्ता, पाठक और पत्रकार भी थे। वे हिंदी, अंग्रेजी, संस्कृत, पंजाबी, उर्दू, बंगला और आयरिश भाषा के विद्वान थे।
9. भगत सिंह ने लाला लाजपतराय का बदला लेने के बाद बटुकेश्वर दत्त के साथ मिलकर दिल्ली की सेंटल असेंबली बिना किसी को नुकसान पहुंचाए  8 अप्रैल 1929 को बम फेंका और  इंकलाब-जिन्दाबाद के नारे लगाये
10. 23 March 1931 को भगत सिंह 23 साल की उम्र अपनी मात्रभूमि के लिए शहीद हो गये।

1. भगत सिंह गरम दल से थे। उनके आक्रमक रवैये ने अंग्रेज सरकार को भी भयभीत कर दिया था। वे अंग्रेजो द्वारा भारतीयों  पर अन्याय करना सहन नहीं करते थे।
2. भगतसिंह ने शादी करने से मना कर दिया। जब घर वालो ने दबाव बनाया तो उन्होंने घर छोड़ दिया क्योंकि वे जिस रास्ते पे चल रहे थे, वहा मृत्यु निश्चित थी इसलिए उन्होंने शादी से माना किया उन्होंने बोला मृत्यु ही मेरी दुल्हन होगी।
3. जेल में रहते हुए भी भगत सिंह ने क्रांतिकारी रवैया अपनाते हुए कैदियों को प्रेरित कर उनमे देश भक्ति की भावना का जोश भरा। जिसने अंग्रेजों को नाकों चने चबवा दिए।
4. भगत सिंह और उनके साथियों ने 64 दिन की भूख हड़ताल की जिससे उनके एक साथी यतीन्द्रनाथ दास की भूख हड़ताल के दौरान मृत्यु हो गयी थी।
5. भगत सिंह महान देश प्रेमी और स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों में से एक थे। उनका बलिदान नौजवानों को देश प्रेम के लिए प्रेरित करता है। भगत सिंह आज भी हम सभी के दिलो में है।

1. Bhagat Singh is counted among the most influential and great revolutionaries of the Indian nationalist movement.
2. Bhagat Singh was born on September 27, 1907 in Banga, Lyallpur district, which is now located in Pakistan. His native village name is ancestral village Khatkar Kalan which is in Punjab, India.
3. Bhagat Singh’s father’s name was Kishan Singh and mother’s name was Vidyavati.
4. With Bhagat Singh’s family being supporters of the Ghadar Party, the Jallianwala Bagh massacre played a major role in instilling a sense of patriotism in Bhagat Singh’s heart.
5. Bhagat Singh did his further studies from Dayanand Anglo Vedic High School after completing his 5th standard from his village.
6. Bhagat Singh had founded the Naujawan Bharat Sabha for the independence of India, leaving his studies in the middle. After this he joined Chandrashekhar Azad’s party, Hindustan Republican Association.
7. Bhagat Singh had great respect for Gandhiji, but some incidents reduced his faith in non-violence. After which he believed that India can get independence only on the basis of arms.
8. Bhagat Singh was not only a voter of independence but also a good writer, speaker, reader and journalist. He was a scholar of Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali and Irish languages.
9. After Bhagat Singh took revenge of Lala Lajpat Rai, Bhagat Singh, along with Batukeshwar Dutt, threw a bomb on 8 April 1929, without harming anyone, the Central Assembly of Delhi and raised slogans of Inquilab Zindabad.
