सफाई से ही इन्सान एक अच्छी पहचान और जिमेद्दर नागरिक बनता है। सफाई हमारे जीवन, शरीर और देश के लिए कितनी महत्वपूर्ण  है इन्हें हम स्वच्छता पर हिंदी और इंग्लिश में 10 पंक्तियाँ में पढेंगे।

  1. जिस तरह हमारे शरीर को साफ़ पानी और शुद्ध वायु की जरूरत होती है उसी प्रकार हमारे शरीर को स्वस्थ रहने के लिए स्वछता की जरूरत होती है।
  2. किसी व्यक्ति के घर में कितनी भी सुख सुविधाएं मौजूद हो लेकिन अगर वो अपने घर को गंदा रखता है या खुद भी गंदा रहता है तो ऐसे व्यक्ति के पास कोई नही जाना चाहेगा।
  3. स्वच्छता रखने वाला व्यक्ति समाज में अपनी अलग पहचान बनाता है। जिसे देखते हुए लोग भी अपने घर में स्वच्छता का अनुसरण करते है।
  4. स्वच्छता की शुरुआत  हमे अपनी घर से करनी चाहिए । घर को साफ़ रखने के लिए हमे रोजाना झाड़ू और पोछे से अपने घर को साफ़ करना चाहिए।
  5. घर की नालियाँ ज्यादतर गन्दी रहती है क्योंकि उसमे हमारे घर का सारा पानी और कचरा जमा रहता है अत: हमे नाली की रोजाना सफाई करनी चाहिए।
  6. अपने घर में एक कूड़ादान जरुर रखें। कचरे को इधर उधर नही फेंकना चाहिए बल्कि कचरा कचरा पेटी या कचरा गाड़ी में कचरा डालना चाहिए।
  7. अगर सफाई नही रखेंगे तो आप ज्यातर बीमार ही रहेंगे क्योंकि जहां गन्दगी होती है वहा बीमारी फैलाने वाले मच्छर और मक्खी  ज्यादा पनपतेहै।
  8. अगर आपके घर में सफाई होगी तो बीमारियाँ नहीं होगी, इससे डॉक्टर के इलाज और दवाई में होने वाले आर्थिक खर्चे भी कम होंगे। जिससे पैसे की बचत होगी।
  9. हमे अपने घर में और घर के आस पास ही नही बल्कि बाहर भी कचरा इधर उधर नही फेंकना चाहिए क्योंकि जैसे घर अपना होता है। उसी प्रकार देश भी अपना होता है और उसकी पहचान भी स्वच्छता से होती है।
  10. स्वच्छता पर महात्मा गांधी जी ने विशेष जोर दिया और ये उनका सपना भी था और इसी वजह से स्वच्छ भारत अभियान की  शुरुआत हुई। जिसका उद्देश्य देश को स्वच्छ बनाना है।

  1. देश की प्रगति भी स्वच्छता और सफाई पर निर्भर करती है क्योंकि अगर हर जगह स्वच्छता सफाई होगी तो लोग कम बीमार पड़ेंगे और लोग कम बीमार पड़ेंगे तो देश की प्रगति में ज्यादा योगदान दे पाएंगे।
  2. अगर घर के बहार कचरा फेंकने की जगह नहीं होती है तो हम उसे कही भी सडक पर इधर उधर फेंक देते है। जिसमे प्लस्टिक की थैली, दवाई, और अन्य कीटनाशक भी होते है, जिन्हें खाने से जानवर की मृत्यु हो जाती है।
  3. यदि हमारे घर में साफ सफाई नहीं होती तो घर में बीमारी फ़ैलाने वाले कीटाणु पनपते है। जिससे घर में आये दिन कोई न कोई बीमारी रहता है।
  4. घर में गंदगी रखने से हमे ही नहीं बल्कि आस पास रहने वाले लोगो को भी नुकसान होता है क्योंकि गन्दी से उत्पन्न बीमारियाँ हमारे साथ साथ सभी जगह फैलती है।
  5. जहा स्वछता होती है वहा सुख-समृधि और लक्ष्मी का वास होता है और जहां गंदगी होती है वहा ये सब कभी फलित नहीं होते है इसलिए हमेशा अपने घर और पर्यावरण को साफ रखे और दुसरो को भी सफाई के लिए प्रेरित करें।
