  4. जवाहरलाल नेहरू जी के जन्मदिन को 14 नवंबर को हर वर्ष बाल दिवस के रूप में  मनाया जाता है।
  5. जवाहरलाल नेहरू जी की सुपुत्री का नाम श्रीमती इंदिरा गांधी था। वे भारत की प्रथम महिला प्रधानमंत्री बनी।   
  6. जवाहरलाल नेहरू जी ने अपना अध्ययन विदेश में किया, उन्होंने 1910 में कैंब्रिज विश्वविद्यालय में शिक्षा प्राप्त की और 1912 में इनर टेंपल लंदन कॉलेज से बैरिस्टर की उपाधि प्राप्त की।
  7. सन् 1947 में भारत के स्वतंत्र होने के बाद पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरु भारत के प्रथम प्रधानमन्त्री बने।
  8. 1955 में जवाहरलाल नेहरू जी को भारत के सर्वोच्च सम्मान भारत रत्न से नवाजा गया। 
  9. नेहरूजी बच्चों को बहुत प्यार करते थे, इसलिए बच्चे उनको प्यार से चाचा नेहरु कहकर पुकारते थे।
  10. 27 मई 1964 को दिल्ली में जवाहरलाल नेहरू जी का दिल का दौरा पड़ने से निधन हो गया।
