1. ओजोन परत की सुरक्षा और इसके महत्व लोगो को बताने के लिए हर साल 15 सितंबर को वर्ल्ड ओजोन दिवस मनाया जाता है।
2. ओजन परत को गंभीरता से लेते हुए उसकी सुरक्षा के लिए 19 दिसंबर 1964 को संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने 16 सितंबर को अंतरराष्ट्रीय ओजन दिवस मनाने की घोषणा की थी।
3. पहला ओजोन दिवस 16 सितबर 1995 को  मनाया गया और इसके बाद से हर साल 16 सितंबर को मनाया जाता है।
4. ओजोन परत ऑक्सीजन के तीन परमाणुओं से मिलकर बनी हुई गैस है ये पृथ्वी के वायुमंडल की एक परत है, जो सूर्य से आने वाली (पराबैंगनी) अल्ट्रावायलेट किरणों से हमे बचाती है।
5. ओजोन परत का पता 1913 में  फ्रांस के भौतिकविदों फैबरी चार्ल्स और हेनरी बुसोन ने लगाया था।
6. आज बढ़ते प्रदूषण के कारण ओजोन परत नष्ट होती जा रही है जो प्रकृति और मनुष्य के लिए चिंता का विषय है।  
7. ओजोन दिवस के दिन हम सभी को अधिक से अधिक पेड़-पौधे लगाने चाहिए और प्रदूषण कम करने की कोशिश करनी चाहिए। जिससे ओजोन परत वापस ठीक हो सके।  
8. आज के समय में लोग प्रकृति की सुरक्षा के लिए बनाये गये महत्वपूर्ण दिनों को गंभीरता से नहीं लेते है। इसी कारण प्रकृति की समस्या का समाधान नहीं होता है क्योकि लोग इसमें बिलकुल भी रूचि नहीं लेते है। 
9. ओजोन परत को सबसे ज्यादा नुकसान हमारे घर के एसी और फ्रिज से निकलने वाली गैस पहुंचती है। ये गैसे कई सालो तक वायुमंडल में सक्रीय रहती है।
10. ओजोन परत नहीं होगी तो अल्ट्रावायलेट किरने धरती पर पहुँच जायेगी। जिससे कैसर जैसी घातक बीमारियाँ होती है, जो पूरी मानव जाति के साथ प्रकृति के जीवन को भी समाप्त कर देगी।

1. ओजोन दिवस मनाने का मुख्य उद्देश्य, ओजोन परत की सुरक्षा के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करना है।
2. वायुमंडल में बढ़ें प्रदूषण से ओजोन परत में गड्डे पड़ गये है जो धीरे धीरे बढ़ रहे है। इसका कारण हमारे द्वारा फैलाया गया प्रदूषण है। 
3. प्रकृति ने हमे अपनी आवश्यकता पूरी करने और हमारी सुरक्षा के लिए सब कुछ दिया है तो हमारा भी कर्तव्य बनता है की हम भी प्रकृति की सुरक्षा करें।
4.  हमे प्लास्टिक और फोम से बनी चीजो का उपयोग कम करना चाहिए। ऐसे किसी भी पदार्थ को नहीं जलाना चाहिए जो पर्यावरण को नुकसान पहुचातें हो।
5. ओजोन परत हम सभी के लिए जरुरी है इसलिए हमे अपने स्वार्थपूर्ण आदत को छोड़कर अपना कुछ समय प्रकृति की सुरक्षा में भी देना चाहिए क्योकि प्रकृति के बिना हम जीवित नहीं रह सकते है।

1. World Ozone Day is celebrated every year on 15 September to protect the ozone layer and tell its importance to the people.
2. Taking the ozone layer seriously, for its protection, on 19 December 1964, the United Nations General Assembly declared 16 September as International Ozone Day.
3. The first Ozone Day was observed on 16 September 1995 and since then it is celebrated on 16 September every year.
4. The ozone layer is a gas made up of three atoms of oxygen, it is a layer of the Earth’s atmosphere, which protects us from the ultraviolet rays coming from the sun.
5. The ozone layer was discovered in 1913 by French physicists Fabry Charles and Henri Busson.
6. Today, the ozone layer is getting destroyed due to increasing pollution, which is a matter of concern for nature and man.
7. On Ozone Day, we all should plant more and more trees and try to reduce pollution. So that the ozone layer can recover.
8. In today’s time, people take seriously the important days made for the protection of nature, that is why the problem of nature is not solved because people do not take any interest in it.
9. The most damage to the ozone layer is the gas coming out of the AC and refrigerator of our house. These gases remain active in the atmosphere for many years.
10. If there is no ozone layer, then ultraviolet rays will reach the earth. Due to which there are fatal diseases like cancer, which will end the life of nature along with the entire human race.
